Angela’s 80th Birthday Tea

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported Angela’s Big Birthday Afternoon Tea at the Royal Garden Hotel, London. Angela had no idea that there were going to be lots of 80th birthday celebrations throughout the afternoon.

Many of the celebrity guests spoke about their connection with Angela giving us some great stories. Celebrity guests included Moira Stuart, Frances Edmonds our compere, Diana Moran, Bob Bevan, Felix Francis, Neil Durden Smith, Gyles Brandreth and many more.

The room looked stunning, afternoon tea was delicious and the bubbles and wine flowed through the afternoon. A fabulous screen show of Angela through the years created a lot of interest.

As we were celebrating Angela’s big birthday, it was not a fundraising event, but we did have a raffle with two amazing prizes. Thanks to donations and a raffle we raised £9,000 for the two small charities we’re supporting in 2024, The Daisy Garland and We are Beams. The event was also featured in the Daily Mail.
