Dear Friends

Happy 2026 as we head into the 5th year of Phoenix Fun Events; five years of Fun and Fundraising! We are so grateful for your steadfast support since 2021, enabling us to donate over £200,000 to fourteen small less well-known charities. With your help, we are aiming to raise lots and lots more money to help make a difference to many lives.

A flyer is attached for our Spring event: a Murder Mystery lunch on Wednesday 6th May at the Royal Thames Yacht Club. This is an exciting new venture for us, hosted by Laura Collins, through her All-Star Murders company so who knows who the victim will be; it could be You! We will send details of the theme and dress code (for those who want to do this) nearer the date. It promises to be a fun lunch, so please do join us.

Other dates for your diaries are Monday 12th October to celebrate our 5th birthday, and, of course, the birthday of our wonderful President, Angela Rippon. On Friday 27th November we’ll be holding our well-loved Christmas lunch. Full details of these events will be circulated through the year.

The theatre events, kindly organised by Mark Plant and Chrissie Walker-Hebborn, have proved extremely popular; the March one is sold-out but there will be others during the year, so watch out for the details.
