The 39 Steps

On Thursday 5th September we went to the Matinee of the brilliant, multi-award-winning The 39 Steps.

The classic John Buchan Thriller won Olivier awards in London on it’s 5-year run. On transferring to Broadway it took it by storm, winning a Tony award. Now back on a UK tour with a short West End run at the Trafalgar Studios in Whitehall.

It is a fast, action-packed show with a huge number of characters (138) – played by 4 actors!

The laughs & enjoyment come from the brilliant use of props & scenery, combined with clever direction as the cast change roles!

There is nothing quite like it.
